Locating family members of a person

Good afternoon all, I hope this message finds everyone safe and well!

I have been researching my great uncle's journey with the Royal West Kent Regiment for quite a few years and I feel that I have bsacailly got his story from joining as a boy soldier to him being killed as a POW in 1942.

However, I happened across the PWRR journal a while back and discovered a piece by a soldier from the same batallion, Kenneth Clarke.

I soon discovered that Clarke and my great uncle were both in the same boys home together in Kent and joined the RWK as musicians and travelled to India, basically growing up with the regiment.

I would love to see if I could get in touch with any of Kens family to see if they have any articles, or photos or information which may relate to my great uncle. I have photos, Ken and Harry appear to be great friends in them. Ken features in a lot of pictures I have, which I would love to share with his family if I can find them.

And this is where I am looking if there is any advice on ways to locate them, I have gotten in touch with the people who run the journal who have told me they lost touch with the Clarkes after Ken passed away and I have searched the likes of Ancestry with no luck.

So I thought I would ask the good folks of this site who are far more qualified than I am in hunting for stuff like this.
