    At that time, the crate was completely rusty and largely boned.
    Well, museums are usually short of money, and in Kubinka, naturally, their own tanks had a higher value than "Nazi junk".
    At least it has been painted in the meantime, since nothing ever came of the supposed restoration in 2014.
    I'm not surprised, because without spare parts you'll never get such a monster roadworthy again: The restoration of the Mk III in Munster was an unparalleled sisyphean task, even with a halfway secure supply of parts.

    Especially with most of Kubinka apparently being 'battlefield recoveries'.
    An acquaintance has clambered about among them & says interiors are rare...
