Looking for the grave of Geoffrey Rice who was Captain/Pilot of one of the Dambuster crews. (AJ-H - ED936/G H for Harry) He was the only survivor when shot down in the December after the Dams Raid. He died on the 28/11/1981 and I have been told that his ashes are buried in the churchyard at Aller. I would hope with a stone or plaque (not certain) If there is, I would really like a photo if somebody would have the time to check it out. Cheers Geoff
Geoff, if nobody comes up trumps I have entered a record for him on Find A Grave and requested a photo of his final resting place. There are 2 people within 10 miles of Aller, so fingers crossed.

Thanks Tony, Graeme and Kyle. Look forward to see if anything turns up at the Church as well. Cheers Geoff
you might want to post this on WW1 forum, the majority of members I believe are Brits so you may get some response from them regards Bob R.
Thanks Bob, that may be right however I would like to keep it in house here at the moment. Cheers Geoff
