    Hi all,

Where was the engine located in the Marder II? I understand from wikipedia that in the Marder III the engine was at the rear, but they were based on completely different chassis and engines (Pz II vs 38t).

Either the II or the II D.

Although that does point out that I know less than I think. The last model of the Marder III must have had a frontally mounted engine.

Basically I wanted to know whether the engine was mounted to the side of the driver in any model.
