    Hello All,

In the books from Richard Doherty (Only the Enemy in Front and British Reconnaissance Corps in WW2) in mentioned the 52nd Recce had windproof smocks, because of the initial plan during Market Garden as airborne role. The combination of RAC helmets make them look like paratroopers.

The book "The fighting Fifty-Second Recce" also mentions "looking rough like partisans" regarding their time around January and early February '45.

Can someone tell me which type of uniform these men used to wear. Where they wearing Denison (para) smocks? Is there know evidence regarding this?
