      The photo looks like Wandsbek, Hamburg which was renamed as St Patrick's Barracks. Also, this photo would tie in with Edward Bulmer's time with 545 Company (Tank Transporter) - the Diamond T Tank Transporters are in the image.

      Thanks for the information about the photo. Do you have any other photos relating to the barracks? I did see a link to someone who had been there recently St Patrick's Barracks
      Although similar the numbers of dormer windows on the comparison is different. More photos would help

      The British Army website atBritish Army units from 1945 on - Companies 501 to 650
      Describes the 545 Company (Tank Transporter) stationed in Wandsbek, Hamburg, Germany during the period 1947 to 1948. The site also gives reference to the Diamond T tank Transporters.
      Edward Bulmer did serve with the 545 Company (tank Transporter) between from the 14/2/47 to 11/7/47 so he must have taken the picture while in Wandsbek
