Fire Damage: Confined fire. Other tanks involved in same incident: Circumstances: Moving slowly down a road, second tank in column when fired at from left flank by ground mounted gun. Position of Hit: Projectile scoop the lower rear left hand corner of the turret and then went on and penetrated the roof of the engine compartment. Course & Effect of Projectiles: The engine was damaged by the projectile and by the subsequent fire. No obvious path in the engine compartment was found for the projectile. No other internal damage. Remarks: Tank seen. Fate of Crew: Unhurt
