Church At San Lorenzo In Strada, Riccione

As stated earlier, the DDay Dodgers paid a heavy price during the Italian Campaign. Some 6000 Canadians are buried in Italy in numerous cemeteries. Sad to say there are very few memorials honouring Allied troops. This is a photo of the Church at San Lorenzo in Strada, Riccione. On the side of the wall is the plaque to the Royal Canadian Regiment which is in the next photo.
