      That's an alert box, a method developed by the Luftwaffe in Russia to prevent engines from freezing on aircraft that needed to be available for quick takeoff.
      The same image appears on page 299 of Jagdwaffe: The War in Russia January to October 1942 by Christer Bergstrom with the following caption: " The use of heated shacks, known as 'Alert Boxes' prevented aircraft engines from freezing and together with a policy of rotating units between Germany and the East was a major factor in the revival of German forces in February 1942"
