      The unit (24th Lancers) is confirmed as follows:
      1. From the IWM caption we know that this Roll shows equipment "belonging to 69th Brigade's supporting assault units", therefore these tanks belong to 8 Armd Bde.
      2. On some frames the first and last digits of the Mobilisation Serial Number '2xxx7', corresponding to 24th Lancers (29967).

      The various MSN were:
      HQ 8 Armd Bde - 19011
      4/7 DG - 1226
      24 L - 29967
      1 NOTTS YEO - 19009
