Hi everyone, I need help with identifying these objects. They were found near a german bunker that was also occupied by the british/Canadians. The square parts looks to be made of rubber while the hexagon is made of iron. Also the rubber part has a small slope as seen in the third picture. It looks very familiar but I can't seem to find wat it is exactly. Any help is much appreciated! L
Can you tell us more:? Where was the bunker (location).......do you know WHAT Canadian/British units.... With the “location” at least we can look to see what units/Brigade/Division may have passed thru the area (using Project 44 data)......it’s a long shot, but any additional info may help
I think you could be in the right direction, when I search for Axle bumper stops, I get quite similar results. Although the iron piece seems much bigger. So it should be a large vehicle.
Can you be more specific, WHERE “near the Rhine”.....closest town, if you have a Map Reference that would be even better....but a bit more specific may help I’ve been searching Univeral Carrier’s, thinking it may be a piece from them....and they had LOT’s of these
It was near the city of Uedem. We have found some universal carrier parts in that area so it could indeed be a part of those. L
