What Jadgtiger Platoon engaged Shermans in Chaumont on 23 December 1944? See the two minute mark in the video below:

They are not Jagdtigers in that video they are Jagdpanzer IV

    Jagdpanzer IV - Wikipedia

edit: according to After The Battle, The Battle of the Bulge Then & Now page 371 they were actually Sturmgeschutz from Fsch.Stu.Gesch Brig 11 with men from 5 Fallschirmjager Division.

You are presuming the tanks pictured are of that unit. Perhaps the film makers used stock film footage. Either way a unit identification will confirm what German tanks were there.

I'm not presuming anything. The graphics are of a JagdPz IV which the film makers are calling a JagdTiger

    not a jagdtiger.JPG

    Chaps,

tanks are far from me & I've seen that on the TV. Forum member Gary Tankard will give you a answer to your debate. I'm sure he will not have to quote Wikipedia. I will be slightly surprised if he does not come up with a answer.

Owen didn't need wiki to know that the animation shows a Jagdpanzer IV :)

Maybe the producers of the video should have used Wikipedia. :D

I only used wikipedia so members who don't know what a JagdPz IV looks like could click a link rather than having to look it up themselves.
