    Hello
    I m completely new here
i m active on a few forums and just discovered this one
It has a lot of information and some of you i already met here and there
For the moment i found something very strange
On these 21 pages full of pictuires not one is found where we can see the french maginot bunkers , some where on the beaches and certainly used by the soldiers of BEF
strange not one german took pictures of them when the beaches must be full with equipment
i tried to place some pictures but this forim works (for me a bit strange and i cant find the method for posting them

here is a google aerial of a few of them
One at the beach (photo is from 1991 and a plan of one in the dunes
are there photos known of these bunkers from the time of Dynamo ?
A lot of pîctures here have cars and lorrys , busses but are there specialists for the right types ? i ve seen some pretty stuff
is there a need for giving the exact type of a car ?
a lot of questions but i m new here

    looks like a Peugeot 402 (1935 1938)

    Hi Dirk

I believe the bunkers on the beach between De Panne and Bray Dunes are German, built post 1940, part of the Atlantic Wall.

Cheers and welcome to the forum

Dirk can you do a close up of the two trucks in the centre. The AoS number looks like a 45 but I can't be 100%. I would agree that that wall looks like the same one at Zudycote.

Welcome to the forum, Dirk. Are you Flanders-based ?

I must admit that if I saw a photograph of a concrete fortification with no abandoned 1940 material around, I would most likely assume 'Atlantic Wall'.

I agree with your assessment of Peugeot 402. It must have been a huge seller for Peugeot. I'd rather like one.
