    Seaforth Memorial, Waterloo, Merseyside.

The memorial, the height of which is 23½ feet, was erected on the site of the present five lamps at the junction between Waterloo and Seaforth. In addition to an inscription on the front, the names of the fallen have been engraved on the panels at the side. Unveiled by Col. Buckley, M.P., on Saturday, the 29th September 1921, the memorial contains the names of over 400 men.
Following the Second World War a further 3 panels where added.

Images taken recently by myself, Please take what you need.

    Bootle War Memorial, Sefton, Merseyside.

Due to the design, some of the panels require replacement. (as they can be walked upon).
    An outstanding memorial though!.

Private Thomas Stanley Warwick, 1st Airborne Division, commemorated on Eamont Bridge War Memorial is - as some may remember - kin to a 'WW2 Talk' member (Nadine Jesko):

Winsford is a town and civil parish within the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire. It lies on the River Weaver south of Northwich and west of Middlewich, and grew around the salt mining industry after the river was canalised in the 18th century, allowing freight to be conveyed northwards to the Port of Runcorn on the River Mersey.

The war memorial is situated in the main shopping centre on an open concourse. The WW1/2 memorial is located next to the civic memorial for the Boer War.

    Clitheroe War Memorial.
The memorial can be found in the castle park near the Museum, just in front of the castle
In 1920 the castle and surrounding park was bought by the people of Clitheroe by subscription and declared a memorial to the men who had lost their lives in the Great War. Later a cenotaph was built in the newly created Garden of Remembrance and unveiled in 1923.

I took this in November 2013, they were just cleaning it at the time for remembrance day when they hold a ceremony each year. The memorial was renovated in 2000 . It commemorates local people who lost their lives in the 1914-18 and 1939-45 world wars.
