I haven't been abke to pursue my posting race to catch Owen up as I have been rather busy for the last weeks taking over a restaurant. At present I'm working very long hours, from 9 to 22 with a short afternoon break, and weekends are a thing of the past. Managing a restaurant certainly is a demanding task, and I'm lucky as most of my suppliers come to my doorstep, whereas some of my colleagues have to be in the market at 6am! Anyway it has positive points, for example my library will increase in size vastly, but then I won't have much time to read them So, I'll still expect to come visit several times a week, if not several times a day as up to here (and no, this is not going to be an improvement to the forum!) More news later. From the moment I have the transmission deed signed I'll be able to make any changes I want and then I will send photos of the thing. Decoration will be a military theme By the way, location will be in the outskirts of Lisbon.
Seeing we have seen a few Portuguese dishes from you in the past, it must be the first place to head when we are in Lisbon. Good luck!
Vegetarians, Kosher, Party members, Vets, Walts, will be happy to food-poison all How much is a pint at your place? One 500cc lager will cost €2 at mine less heavy discount for WW2T card carrying members with dues paid
As one of my most respected colleagues would say " Go for it". Very best wishes Miguel , just don't serve up any "wabbit"/ B.B. Well done sir !
Thank you very much all for your collective kindness. I'm sure it will be a welcoming place, and I'd be extremely happy to have it as a stopover to my many friends here on their trips to this sunny rectangle More news in October!
