That's OK, I'll hate you all back for the books you've got that I haven't. And mock the OCD-like levels of tidiness demonstrated :p
One that I've actually read... that was a lucky guess.

That's the woman's touch. Haven't you seen Calamity Jane?
(Thinks: bugger, have I just outed myself?)

And the hammer is needed to get the books back on the shelf, obviously.

Its not as much fun as it seems - especially if you get something really boring, or just plain badly written. Reading books you might not necessarily like can be a chore, as is trying to write constructive reviews of them!

Weird how I like looking at other people's book shelves nearly as much as I like book shopping!

I'm not standing for that! You can have both barrels!

n.b. optical imperfections are not the result of the mass of the books on photons, it's a hastily autostitched panorama.

And if it makes Owen and Andy feel better: the smaller ones get used a lot more (looking at their post counts).

I feel so inadequate with my 3 bookcases-pics might follow if i can be bothered!:D
Now if I can only persuade the wife we actually need to buy a house with a BIGGGG study!:lol::lol: I won't have to get rid of the books in the boxes hidden in the cupboards underneath ther stairs!

Regards to all with you BIG bookcases, and Drew you really got the ATB bug didnt you?:D

Totally random I know, but have you noticed how titles of English books (on the back of it) are often written from top to bottom, whereas others go from bottom to top?

I thought it was just French books with titles from bottom to top. I have to be careful not to put them upside down.

Well, here is a bit of my office and library. The views are over a period of time. There's even a chunk of the Berlin Wall, underlined in yellow, Tom.

    Enjoy.

    cheers,

I see the many OPP badges in your collection. A good friend of mine down the road from you, Blind River, just retired from the force. Many hours and much $$ in that room but a labour of love I'm sure.

Thanks, Tim. Yup, a lifetime of collecting.

As regards OPP, started with Dad's. That one seemed a natural.

    cheers,
    phil
