A fellow member thought this would be a good idea and asked me to start things off. :) Ok H?
Sorry the photos aren't great. Guess which books belong to the missus (she has the small section).
This is my first bookcase out of two (second later depending if this thread survives).

P.S. I need a bigger house and more bookcases!

Is this going to be a male testosterone dominated 'my book collection is bigger than your book collection' thread

Mrs thinks I'm really sad, almost as bad as taking pics of my dinner.
This is the new tidy shelf after I had to repair it as it collapsed a few weeks ago.
Lots of my books are in the loft now,
These are the ones I think are most needed to be got at.

    Tidying up's for Wusses!

    Yeah, and?
Never forget we're in a place where we can legitimately bore each other with nonsense like this. ;)

    Most of the Military stuff:

Very small room/indoor shed, so hard to photograph...

Now I know there's some chaps that visit here that have played this game elsewhere - hopefully they can chip in and I can turn green all over again.

I'm not standing for that! You can have both barrels!

n.b. optical imperfections are not the result of the mass of the books on photons, it's a hastily autostitched panorama.

And if it makes Owen and Andy feel better: the smaller ones get used a lot more (looking at their post counts).

    Somehow... I was expecting that.
You realise everyone hates you a little bit now...

(nice to see a copy of 'About Face' lurking there - a fine book.)

As they say, it's not how big it is, it's what you can do with it.

Mine just seemed to shrink a little when I saw Idler's but I have to say that I'm slightly unsure about a man who keeps a teddy bear and a hammer with his book collection. Are there any profilers in the audience tonight ?
