    Yes, you all figured it out. My dad, Walter C. Grace, was one of the members of the 1285th who built this bridge. He was always proud of the job they had accomplished, He was in explosives so helped blow out the western end of the bridge. I remember many stories about his time there. Here are four pictures of the bridge with backgrounds that confirm previous writer's comments along with a picture of my dad.
