    Things are moving along quickly!

It appears that the former owner was about to move the website to a new server anyways, so I've gone ahead gangbusters and prepared my server for this site. It looks like the move will happen in the next one to three days. Unfortunately this site will go dark for some time during that period, and I can't even say when exactly this will happen or how long it will last.

There shouldn't be too many problems, and if you visit in the next few days and the site is down, don't fret, she will be back!

This is likely to begin within the next 6 hours.

I'll just be going to bed. Otto I swear, if this site isn't up and running by 1000hrs BST to keep me amused at work I will beat you to death with a shovel. Nothing personal. ;)

Sorry, couldn't help. I used to drive the trucks like above and have a thing for them (as if you didn't know) and shovels, heck, any mining equipment!

    Look out Otto! :wow:

Both look painful, but at least one would end quickly. It looks like I will get to dodge the beating, at least temporarily anyways. We can't move for a day or so, so I have a stay of execution. I'll keep you informed.

Andy, I thought that Aussies were known for calling a spade a spade. Where I come from, that is a spade, Mate !:)

A Spade has straight sides in order to cut down into the ground easily, a shovel has its edges curled up in order to hold on what is being shoveled. This is useful when following a train.

This has been your announcement of the day from the Useless Facts Bureau. :D

    Reminds me of a joke!

The young boy at school said his dad was very straightforward, to which the teacher replied: "He calls a spade a spade then" to which the boy replied "no, he calls it a effen shovel. (Had to keep it clean)

I guess it's not everyone then, eh Kitty. ;)

Welcome back Lee, I've been looking for you.

I merged the Otto profile with that of spdude, and had the server update the counters to correct any problems. From what I can tell all counts are accurate now, and were off before.

Not welcome back, just dropping by to say bye!

Now that Otto has the forum I have other things to concentrate on.

Have dropped you a line Otto, if you could take care of those items for me that would be great.

    Good luck...

    Lee

Well, the move is complete! It went rather smoothly and we didn't loose but a couple posts. Hopefully, I've dodged Kitty's shovel beating! :D

There might be a few bugs running around post move, so let me know if you see any, and I'll have them stomped on. ;)
