Silloth War Graves - Home Good stuff Jeff. Brief vehicle-nerd point (sorry!) This page - Page 10 - Silloth War Graves Vehicle identified as a Beaverette in fact looks to be a Canadian produced 'Otter' (GM CRAC), based on a C15 chassis. I started with just my Dads Home Guard Company photo and a book. Ive expanded it to include all the Home Guard units in Newcastle. Is not about weapons, equipment and tactics, thats been done elsewhere, its more about the men and women. "C" Company Northumberland Fusiliers Newcastle Home Guard NcleHomeGuard I thoroughly enjoy the research side, meeting and listening to peoples experiences. I recently met a man who fled Germany aged 10 with his parents. They werent allowed to take their savings with them, and from what he said they where quite wealthy.
