RTCW was an awesome game! another good one is Band of Brothers Road to Hill 30, nice graphics realistic...fully integrated squad ordering/flanking engine thing i have it on my xbox but i don't know if it comes on anything but XBOX
Brothers in Arms Road to hell There is a WW1 game coming out in March on the PS3 http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/3508649/To-End-All-Wars/Product.html
There is no WW1 shooter so far, which is definitely pitty. The creators should move away from WW2 (where there seems that every new idea was already exhausted) to another interesting historical topics.
The very best FPS for WW2 is Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45. It cannot be matched by any other historical shooter. There are hundreds of maps, no crosshairs, and the tanks are excellent to drive and command. You will be blown away. Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45
Cheers for the link to the World War 1 game Drew, do you no if its going to be out for xbox 360? Donnie

Operation Flashpoint, although nealry a decade old, is still having Mods made for it. One of the latest being a very good WW1 version. Also some good WW2 mods for it, although most of the WW2 Modders focus is on ArmedAssault now. What's great about Operation Flashpoint is that because it's so old most people can run it at Maximum Resolution, something few could do originally. Details for the OFP WW1 mod: iB::Topic::Ww1 minimod and current Expansion Pack in development: iB::Topic::WW1 Mod Expansion Pack You can buy Flashpoint for a few quid on Ebay.
COD 5 rocks! And yes their are WW1 games in the wild, almost all of them are budget titles that are usually dog fighting games.
There is a WW1 shooter in development for the PC. Verdun Online - Official page Started up by some ex-developers of the Battlefield 1918 mod for Battlefield 1942. Keep an eye on it, it's going to be great. The very best FPS for WW2 is Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45. It cannot be matched by any other historical shooter. There are hundreds of maps, no crosshairs, and the tanks are excellent to drive and command. You will be blown away. Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 I do not agree. RO has various things that are far from perfect: lone tankers who simply switch all the times, plain ugly graphics compared to other games and some few things that wont pop in since I'm ill. However, the gameplay is genius. The only shooter that can be compared to RO is Forgotten Hope 2. It is a mod for Battlefield 2 that turns that silly arcade shooter into a WW2 realism game.
