Why thank you. My first video was the "British Troops in Sicily" (Canada at War - Video: British Troops in Sicily)... right now I'm working on the Commonwealth/French/Polish force at Cassino.
Nice one Erikh! The Ortona one's particularly good. Great to see a selection of interesting vids gathered in one neat place. Cheers, Adam.
If you have the time to watch "From D-Day to the Dam" (in the Canadian gallery), it's definatly a good watch... just under an hour in length... two parts (20 / 25 mins). The audio is a mix of English, French and Dutch.
I've just been having a look at a few more. Was viewing the Dieppe one the other day. It all means so much more now I've been there. Thanks Erik.
Erik - really enjoyed that. The section showing the RAMC jeeps was interesting, as I am pretty sure I know where that is - a place called 'The Jeep Head' which is beneath The Bowl' close to Snakeshead Ridge. Great stuff!
Thats a nice video YouTube - WW2 Urban Combat And here is another video showing tank battles YouTube - WW2 Combat Footage Dani
Thats a nice video YouTube - WW2 Urban Combat Nicely edited, works rather well as a whole. The second clip relates to the Cologne Panther/Pershing business. We had a thread on it here: http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/weapons-technology-equipment/7249-panther-versus-pershing-cologne.html
Thats another nice video i found YouTube - Bulgaria in the Second World War Its on russian but its about the partisans movement. In the video you can see the russian forces entering in Bulgaria without any resistance by bulgarian army.
