Met up with wtid45 this evening for a quick pint, whilst I was on business in Bristol, the meeting was short but sweet but we still manage to mention the world Arnhem at least a hundred times in 30 minutes

Several years back, had the pleasure of being hosted on a tour of Arnhem/Oosterbeek by Airborne Medic and have caught up with him many times since. Jagdpanther44 and I met up at the Falaise Gap and spent a terrific afternoon strolling from Trun to St.Lambert-sur-Dives.....and back.

A thought I have pondered over for some time is that many people on the forum take the time in the summer to visit the Tank base at Bovington - which is always of great interest not only to the Tank buffs but many others - however there is one chap even more interesting living close by to the Tank depot and that is Sapper - who lives in Swanage not ten miles away- and is well worth a visit and a few laughs - as I found in May of this year and three hours just sped by - so chalk it up for your next trip.....it's well worth while - Cheers me old mates Brian & Sheila........... Cheers
Had the pleasure of meeting Mr & Mrs Reinders again yesterday. Thanks for everything Philip, it's just a shame the weather stopped the original plan! All the best.............
I spent 30 mins in the company of Dave, (Kingarthur) today so if anyone happened to pass two blokes stood on a street corner in Downend, near Bristol, today deep in converstion.......... and happened to hear the word Arnhem or Airborne or even the name Paul then that was us! many thanks for the book mate and was great to see you again.

Whereabouts are you going - Jase told me ages ago he wouldn't mind buying you a pint if your ever in Bristol City Ohhh how wonderful!! I would love to have a pint with Jase... Tell him thank you so much!! I will be in London...HOWEVER I am getting my international drivers license so that I can have adequate transportation to visit everyone. I would be in the UK for about 2 week seeing the country side, visiting everyone from this board (well, as many as I can), frequenting the museums, paying my respects to the war dead, and now, going to Bristol City to drink a pint with Jase...
