    Hi there

I thought I would post the URL of my auction for this outboard. Yet again it is another item my great uncle some how ended up with.

Some people believe it to be a storm boat outboard but I would like to know what you think??????

Please take a look at the URL, I have placed the outboard for sale as it is of no use to me or my great uncle any more!

    Thanks for looking

Could have been belonged to one of the Canadian storm boats that evacuated British 1 Airborne Division, 25/26 September 1944...

Evinrude were the outboards used on the Canadian storm boats notoriously unreliable I have heard. I cant speak as to whether this was one of them or not my experience with them was in the 60's and 70's (limited) but still were not that reliable; likely had more to do with bad gas and bad wiring than anything.

    Andrew,
It might be worth posting about the outboard on the Historic Military Vehicle Forum as well. Some obscure equipment turns up on that forum.
