Hi I have just returned from a visit to the battle fields of The Somme france with my son. Whilst field walking we came across debris from the battles. We saw a live shell and part of an exploded shell. Can anyone please identify whether they are British or German please. I have also posted some pictures of what we picked up including what I think are drive bands and shrapnel balls. Kind regards Danny
