Good Day My Grand Father served in the Royal Engineers during WW2 and i require some information if anybody would be kind enough to help me. As far as i would informed by family he was involved in Dunkirk. Was a sergeant and served with the Royal Engineers. I have attached an image with the medals he was awarded. As far as i know they are the (in order) War Medal (1939-1945) Defence Medal 1939-1945 Star i have basic knowledge of these medals and what they were awarded for but if anybody can provide more detailed information that would be appreciated. The Grenade cloth badge is as far as i am concerned a standard RE emblem but is the on in the image specific to WW2? The other cloth badge with the red Flower i have no idea what this is so if anybody could please provide some information. Thank you for any help you can provide Glenn Wilson
