WW2 Helmet?

So I bought a helmet some years ago in a flea shop in germany, it's in good condition, minor scratches, still has paint (It's black), and has DIN 14940 on the inside with a logo I don't recognize.

My stepfather said it was a WW2 German pilot helm, but I'm not so sure. Here are the pictures

Post-war too I think. Check this webpage - http://sharky-fourbees.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/deutsh-feuerwehrhelm-west-german-fire.html - seems to have the same DIN number as yours.
