    Hi Phil,
I too recently came across a similar sad example - father and son buried in the same grave in the UK, dying just over 3 years apart:

    on 21 June 1943
Son of L.Cpl. Walter William Bootes, Pioneer Corps (died as a result of active service, 17th August, 1946), and of Susannah Bootes, of Washington.
Remembered with honour WASHINGTON (OUR LADY IMMACULATE) ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHYARD
    Grave/Memorial Reference: Sec. 6. Row 7. Joint grave 1.

I've created a new Tag for father & son casualties; they don't have to be in the same war just commemorated by CWGC.
