Did not know a better place to put my comment, so here it is.

I am sure you guys have other Hobbies/Interest and belong to other forums not related to WW2.
Most forums have a slot for discussing off-topic interests and WW2 is a popular topic for a lot of people.

I was really surprised at the number of forum members ...on the other forums, not this one... that cannot grasp a persons interest in WW2.
All they see is The Holocaust and Nazis and Hitler.

They cannot fathom that we separate the bad from the good.
It was the dawn of Modern Technology.
If you are into vehicles, there are all kinds to discuss. Really the only time you can discuss half-tracks in any real way.

If you are into Guns/Firearms there is that part.

    Ships
    Airplanes
    Politics
    Etc etc etc.

It was the biggest event in recent history.
Speaking of history....history is FULL of horror and bad actors, but that does not make historians to be some type of violent psychopaths.

Not sure if you guys have had your "Sanity" questioned regards your interest in WW2.....but i have, a few different times.

    Sanity? Sanity??

"Everyone knows there ain't no Sanity Clause"

I'm waiting on Harpo for an answer on that one (and either it's foggy outside or that's six more hard boiled eggs).

    Kind regards, always,

    Jim.

My experience is that people really object to The German stuff.

Moved posts from What have you learned about WW2 recently?
Discussion better placed on a separate thread ; older threads along similar lines may well exist but I'm too tired right now to search for them.
Chip - feel free to edit title.
