As some of you know I work in TV here in the UK. Last year we had a series commissioned about the archaeology of 1940 which will be shown in June, and probably end up on BBC America or one of the cable channels at a later stage for those of you in the US.

We are looking into a second series at present, and are keen to contact any localised Archaeology groups in the Ardennes, in the area of the Battle of the Bulge. I believe there are several in the area but am having trouble tracking them down.

If you are a member of one of these group or can out me in touch with one or more of them, please drop me a PM or email.

I'm not impressed with these chaps' treatment of human remains. Dignity and respect demands a certain decorum: publishing photos of recent human remains is below the standard I would expect. Poor sod.

Yes I agree it is a tricky one. But it's clear from the site these are not 'battlefield scavengers'; they appear to work with the Belgium EOD and VDK in this case.

Paul, I think I saw you recently in some documentary, can't recall, but how much fun is that(American expression for cool). What a great job! I love roaming around old forts and battlefields. Most recently was Cassino and the Gustav line.

    Cheers,

    Peter
