What in your opinion is the saddest misrepresentation of a real WW2 event by the movie industry? As far as I'm concerned 'Pearl Harbour' takes some beating with 'Memphis Belle' a close second...
Any Films that the Yanks think that they won the war and there are a lot of them Are we including the Pacific? Just asking...
Raoul Walsh's "Objective Burma" set the tone. "The True Glory" was a well-made film but no more than half the truth. But "U-571" must be right up there as a contender for taking the biscuit for letting fiction appear to be fact. Or do I mean "the cookie"?
