Does WW2Talk have a "sister" forum for WW1? anyone have a recommendation for a site? Maybe volunteering at a local library to do WW1 research shortly, and need to brush up on things.
RDR try this one, lots of knowledgeable people on it, and some really interesting reading too http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php I have just recently subscribed to ancestry and have done some digging into WW1 records etc, quite addictive too! Good luck Andy
The BBC History website for the WW1 centenary may provide you with useful background reading: http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww1
Thanks, Owen will do, but signing up to stephan and others recommendation, thanks all. Will still be on here as well, so not leaving as such.
