WW1 cap badge identification help, please!

    Sorry to invade WWII with a WWI question, but I'm struggling to identify the cap badge on the attached. I also have a photo of same person on horseback with saddle mounted sword.

    It looks like The Surrey Yeomanry. (Queen Mary's Regiment)!
