Of late I've been trawling through Naval and Military Press for Christmas presents (I know -96 days to go!) and I've noticed that their seems to be far more WW1 books than WW2.

Is this because there is far more interest in WW1, less information available in the public domain on WW2, the book store is more WW1 focused or something else........Please vote below :D

Because we're 20 years or so behind the type of research into WW2 as for WW1.

    Couldn't agree more.

Or is it because they are republishing out-of-copyright books and First World War history authors are 25 years deader than those for the Second?

I suspect there is a degree of that, too.

It's why all those cheap reprints are appearing in Bargain Books... ;)
