This week I visited Wrangle Church in Lincolnshire . On the wall there is a US flag and a brass plaque to a WW2 Bomber crew who died on Wrangle Common when they turned back from a raid . One crew member did survive . Linden
My cousin has a photograph which she will be sending to me . Would she be able to upload it directly to this site without being a member ?
In a word, No. If you have problems doing it, PM me, I'll give you my email address, send it to me and I'll put it on here.
Hello Owen . I have the Wrangle Church photograph if you would like to send me your email . Regards, Linden

Lots more on the mission here. 13 July 1944 -- Mission #131 -- Target: Saarbrucken Scroll down to bottom of page to see how the Berlin Bitch met her end.
Thank you Owen . If I go again I'll try again for the photo . There's an American flag beside the plaque . The account you have posted was very interesting . I imagine there must be people in Wrangle who remember this crash .
