No apologies it’s WW1, but yesterday (26th) there was a fascinating item on the Jeremy Vine Radio 2 lunchtime programme. It concerns Major Edward Marie Felix Momber who was KIA 20 June 1917. Casualty details I have been trying to locate a recording of the programme and the only one I can find is on the Jeremy Vine facebook page. Unfortunately it seems like it was recorded on a mobile phone so, to be honest is pretty bad quality, but, if you can persevere it is a great story and worth listening to. If anyone finds a better recording perhaps they could post. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=2017134761839732
YES we also found this to be an interesting article BUT like yourself would like to LISTEN AGAIN. Been in touch with Radio 2 today and unfortunately the programme is not on on CATCH UP. Only available for 30 days...just missed it and would be very grateful to anyone who has a recording. Thank You in anticipation. Rita Weston-super-Mare email lionelak@hotmail.co.uk
