World War II Forum Open!

Great site, and good to see that many of the Pals from the Baker Rifles have joined up
I'm just 'getting into' WW2, although the Great War takes up most of my time, and I look forward to learning more.

 

Like Lee I have been directed here by Paul. I have lots of questions brewing and look forward to participating.

This is great, as I have an Uncle who drove landing craft at Anzio and I can now find out a little more about this. My Uncle is still living and I am in the process of trying to persuade him to put his experiences on tape for me.

Wow! A bit of Forum History! Presumably Lee bought it later?

Apart from Paul, we don't see much of the other originals. But Salientpoints, Croonaert & Armourersergeant are still very active on the Great War Forum. (I go there myself, but its rare that I can think of anything intellgent to say except occassionally in the War in the Air section).
