Wooden Bullet

I'm a new member and I am hoping you guys can help me out. My friend has a wooden bullet, he describes as blue-ish in color. On the casing it has writing - - VS ES 3 36. I havent seen it yet but he says VS on one side then E over S, a 3 and then a 3 over a 6. any info on this would be awsome!

He also has a winterschlacht im osten medal and several german and american maps from 1936 to 1944. what are these items generally worth?

I don't know how much it worth. Probably depends of condition of medal. One example:

Awards and badges : WW2 German medal "Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42"

 

You have a blank cartridge for the 8mm Lebel. It was made in the third quarter of 1936 (3 36) at the Atelier de Construction de Versailles (VS) with metal supplied by ES (not listed)
