http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/winter-olympics/25886326 So great to see us win a bronze in Slopestyle.
Just watched normal hill ski-jumping. Giggled at this chaps name. http://www.sochi2014.com/en/athlete-andreas-wank Saw that Kamil Stoch had Polish Air Force insignia on his helmet.
Took me back watching this last night. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03tvd87/Torvill_and_Dean_The_Perfect_Day/
Women's Ski-slopestyle & Men's halfpipe qualifing spoilt by warming temperatures. The snow & ice is melting . I heard on the coast it was 16 degrees C. At least they indoors there in giant refrigerators.
The Canadian lady who fell on the ski-slopestyle and fractured her jaw - looked painful, then they slowed it down and it looked even more painful. Yowch! I enjoyed watching the luge. Tried to get in to the curling earlier, but just couldn't find any excitement in it.
We don't think much of the medical cover at work. I've seen two incidents were it was pretty poor. A female snow boarder smashed the back of her head on the floor after a jump so bad that she split her helmet open and was clearly knocked out for around 30 seconds. The stewards/medics (dunno who they were) picked her up straight away and patted her down and allowed her to ski the rest of the course. No care for c-spine, collar, board. Yesterday a skier wiped out on a jump and from the landing clearly would have neck of femur, femur, pelvic or ankle trauma and they put her in a bag and skied off the slope, again no collar or board etc.
