All are Commissioned so the will be in Army and Navy Lists and also in London Gazette for 1939-45 period. Navy List also gives where serving. Have a go with surname in the following alternative search engine http://www.rafaircraftaccidents.com/Air_Force_List/aflfinderindex.html eg Norwood is in the 1939 Navy Lists and can be followed in postings in subsequent lists. Feb 1939, page 84 and Page 296 (HMS Glasgow) June 1940 HMS Victory and Page 293 gives full name as Roger Curteis Regards Ross

If it turns out to be BKS Evans-Gordon, then he began his POW life in Italy, Camp 38 Poppi, near Arezzo. WO392/21 has been known to include errors in the information it shows. The details are stated as being correct as of August 1943. I hope this will help build a picture.
There is a Joseph Peter (H) Clay, born Nuneaton July 1915, died Salisbury Q1 1980. He's not in the Half Yearly Army Lists of December 1938 or 1942, so that suggests not a pre-war Regular. In the Quarterly Army List for April 1941 he is listed as Royal Warwickshire Regiment, Territorial Army; 2/Lt 24/8/39; WS/Lt 2/12/39; A/Capt 2/12/39 An HWL Clay ended the war as an A/Lt. Col, Royal Warwicks.
