Over to you experts, I'm looking to buy a vintage vehicle in the near future, love the Willys Jeep but I'm an RAF nut, I know these are more US but anyone seen or heard of a Willys in RAF colours ???
I have searched on the web and have drawn a blank trying to find an original RAF liveried Willys jeep. However I found several models and one renovated Jeep, so I have attached thumbnails. Tom
Certainly one variant of the RAF Jeep are the garish 'Follow me' Schemes... if you could live with one: Shoreham's personal battle Fair few other 'quieter' schemes available. An RAF Mountain Rescue Jeep, somewhere in Wales. The Service began in 1942 and the jeeps served until being replaced by Land Rovers immediately postwar. (RAF 208343) The RAF Regiment was also a big user of Jeeps. Worth searching IWM for them.
