William Edward Robinson, 5th Coldstream Guards

  1. Anyone not busy today ? researching the following soldier - Wm Edward Robinson killed 3 4 1945 buried Sage War Cemetery, he is commemorated on our war memorial - Milnrow- and I would like to know where he was when he died , to add to his pen picture. Thanks Ralph.

    Looks as though he was moved with several others from Lingen https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...x426cf776300b950!8m2!3d52.5403079!4d7.3292862

    As you will see from the CWGC concentration report it sometimes tells you where they were initially buried, which is sometimes the place they died in action, sometimes the hospital (or aid station).
