Why is there no forensic evidence of the Holocaust? (There is plenty of forensic & other evidence)

Oh, I'm too late. Really there was only one answer he or she was likely to give, wasn't there, if they'd been 'brave' enough? "The Jews." Definitely not an anti-Semite, though ...

At its heart, it's always really that, isn't it.

I used to keep a file of hatemail sent to this location after such.
Used to blow my mind how they usually called me 'YoU DirtY XXXXX JOOO'.
I mean... call me old fashioned, but surely... if you really really hate something... at least learn to spell that thing correctly.

My elementary school teacher was a small child in Antwerp in 1942 and she and her mother escaped. I've spoken to a camp survivor and I've seen the tattoos on survivors' arms. I've seen the film and the photographs, I've heard the filmed testimony of those who lived through the camps and of those who liberated them. That is quite enough for me. And there is indeed forensic evidence in the narrower sense as well: Human remains - evidence of crimes - Buchenwald Memorial
Berlin holds funeral for human bone fragments held by the Nazis "to grant peace to all the victims" - CBS News

Remind me again: why are we even discussing this now?

I remember a young coed who had to be relieved from her escort position during the conference. She kept crying, "I see. I see." She saw some hint of what they saw. For a Midwestern person that was a serious load of shit. And still it was just a ghost of the reality.

And the lice resent that comparison, btw.

    It's more complex though. Tim.
I think there's value in a hopefully sane online spot hosting their toss.

    Traces, mate.
Long may those traces continue, and hopefully those after us with no direct association can carry the torch

    Traces, though.
    Doubts.

Some things stay with you a long time. I can still see the license plates on a Packard as it drives away. Some nice lady noticed me crying.

    "What's wrong?"
    "Dad!"
    "Where?"
    "Car!"
Only one car in sight and it's shrinking fast.

Lice outbreaks are surprisingly common in elementary school in the UK today. Our EU relatives are flabbergasted by it.

    All the best

Aaaaaah, a visit to the nit nurse (note: not night nurse), de rigueur at infants school way back when. Usual M.O. at the time, shame child, then shame parent, never any benevolence or sympathy ("sympathy falls between sh1t and syphilis in the dictionary and we don't want any of that here"). Chemical cosh applied to bonce, rinse and repeat with liberal use of nit comb till crawlers neutralised or hair falls out.

No "nit nurses" (or nurses!) in state infants (primary) now. Teachers deal with it, with most everything, as best they can. Chemical cosh replaced by "nature friendly shampoo". Easier on the kids and the environment but also easier on the nits.

Change for the better, a big thumbs up.

Change for the sake of change, no thank you.

Kind regards, take two aspirin and get to the back of the queue, always,

    Jim.

Under the armpits and down yer knacker-crackers for good measure, then strip naked for second immediate application.

"Don't bother to try holding your breath, it's harmless".

No it wasn't, to lice or humans.

    Benefits; it worked.

    Long term; "What's long term?".

Kind regards, cod liver oil on a dessert spoon, always,

    Jim.

I never got the lice. Later in life I got the crabs. (Technically they were debriding a wound for me, but that sounded better/worse.)

Has the dog officially stopped piddling on the carpet or is this a suspension?
