Why do I have to log in again every time I click on a link in a post ?. That normally shouldn't be a problem but as I have forgotten my password I cant . At the moment edge remembers my password ( I Think) but I don't know how to access it in edge Can anyone suggest a remedy ?
Ok but should I have to log in again every time I click on a link in a post . I have already logged in to read the post in the first place so If that post contains a link I would like to read I have to reenter my user and password again? Is this normal , Yes or No. ? I have now got my password back by a bit of poking about in W10 and finding about non-existent credential passwords, etc, etc .
I don't quite understand what you mean by a link in a post. A link to a different thread in the forum? A link to an article somewhere not on the forum? Either way, though, I don't have that issue.
Its a link to a different thread or an thumbnail image in the forum , and the " remember me " box is ticked . OOOPs just discovered that the remember me box was not ticked . But it still showed my user name etc. so the forum knew it was me .
