Can someone tell me what a Yahoo! Slurp Spider is?

s'right, spiderbots that potter about looking for words and pressing buttons to see what they can find (if they're allowed). They appear to be designed by the cleverest of the clever. Probably all quantum now...

So does that mean that it and MSNBot Spider are not real people but cyberspies?

    Should we be worried?

No they are just spiders, and we want them here. I send maps to google and yahoo every night telling the spiders where the new posts are and so on.

All they do is index what they find so that for example if someone was to search in a couple of weeks for something using the words cyberspies and ww2 you will find a link to this thread.

It happens on every single website, its just that you can see it here.

Cheers Lee - just a bit paranoid at the moment because I've just changed security suites and I'm still fiddling with it's settings.
