Who was the CO of the 24th Field Regt RA - 1939?

    Hello all,

    I am looking through various sources, without success.

    I am trying to find out who was the CO of the 24th Field Regiment, RA, specifically at the time of April May 1939?

    Had a look, nothing obvious online. The RA were re-organised in May 1938, which probably does not help. Caveat: it was regular unit, so presumably retained officers for several years.

    If the C.O. was in place after Dunkirk this thread may help, notably that Skoyen has their WD. See: 24th Field Regiment RA

    You could try repeated searches as list is broken up: British Army Officers 1939-1945  -- H
