    I did.
    Presumably the BBC noting the popularity of various 'big machines' type programmes on assorted satellite channels, and deciding to make a much better job of the genre.

    It was a great programme tonight. really really interesting. And WOW at being related to Louis XIV et al ..
    What a line of ancestry.
    I missed the 1st half though-gutted..

    Has anyone else noticed how much Americans nod their heads when talking to eachother. It happens alot in this series.
    I first noticed that when watching Sesame St as a kid.
    I've seen Americans do it in real life over in the States too.
    It's something I don't notice us British do.
    Why do Americans do it so much?

    Had to do some serious grovelling to watch the footie and Tennis, thank the lord for Sky Plus.Trouble is, she now has a months worth of Corrie, Eastenders and Emmerdale to watch back to back lol.

    I personally find British Tv concepts rarely translate well when given the stateside treatment.They just never seemed to come across as well.
