This is an image of an RE Sapper, beginning to detect the mines and other Chindit related booby traps from around the perimeter of White City in November 1944. The clear up, so to speak.
I found this on twitter. not a great photo but it kind of shows the steepness and close proximity of OP and Pagoda Hill. Mike
