Where was Rommel - 26/10/1942

Hi all,

Does anyone know where Rommel was located on the 26/10/1942?

If any kind member can help I would be very grateful.

Just had a quick glance through

Then when Rommel was still in hospital at Zemmering ,hitler telephoned to him personally at noon on October 24th
Rommel there is bad news from Africa he said the situation looks very black do you feel well enough to go back
Rommel left next morning to Italy for a conference with Ritelen about petrol supplies in north africa landed in Crete and was in his headquarters in North Africa by 8pm
D-Day plus 3 was the day Rommel took over 26th October
Rommel was planning a counter offensive within hours of his arrival

Very light on info just states hq but Derna is mentioned but hq not confirmed

 

Reasonably certain HQ was in Matruh at the time.

Rommel officially took over on 25 October.
