Very good film on BBC4 tonight at 2100 - Land of Mine.

 

Anyone been watching the 6 part series "Churchill" on Channel 5 Friday nights?
Great series and really enjoyed it.

Edit: what a pity Clive Sinclair isn't still with us - an inventor 'ahead of his times' (OK, that's a bit of an oxymoron) but with a massive effect on what came next (as is often the case).

“The Lancaster Bomber at 80 with David Jason” tonight 7pm, Channel 4.

It’s followed by the latest in a series called “Britain’s Forgotten Wars”, with Tony Robinson, a series I hadn’t even realised has been on for a few weeks now, although I can never quite take to Mr Robinson, but that’s just me, can’t love ‘em all can you. May give it a whirl tonight though, it’s about Korea.
